Para las congregaciones de danzantes del centro de México el primer Viento de las danzas es el Señor del Sacromonte de Amecameca y su cerrito sagrado. Mítico lugar de la creación del hombre y las semillas. Para muchos investigadores, capital antigua de los olmecas xicalancas, de los chichimecas totolimpas amaquemeques y según algunas leyendas, región donde se inventó el pulque y se perfeccionó el maíz y su siembra. Lugar de la lluvia y la neblina, lugar del ocelote y la serpiente, lugar de las cuevas donde ahora reposa el Cristo Negro, Señor del Sacromonte, Tamoanchan Chalchiuhmomozco, en el lugar donde brota el agua de jade. Sus montañas sagradas, la casa del rayo, de la nube, de la lluvia y de los granizos.
